Researchers of University of Minnesota have discovered the
educational benefits of social-networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace etc.
About 95% of the university students aged between 16-18 are
using social networking sites.
The survey found that 94% of students use Internet and 81 %
of them go online after reaching home and 77 to 78% had their profile on
social-networking sites.
While survey, students asked they learn technology skills,
enhance their knowledge, communication skills, and confidence and update their
minds to new events and discoveries and know about their friend’s activities
etc.
Therefore technology is not bad but its use makes it right
and wrong.
